Experienced Structural Engineer

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our growing engineering department, who wishes to continue their professional development with us.

Job Description

As a structural engineer at Ingenjörsfirman, you work as a consultant and become part of a team of engineers who are happy to support each other when needed. You will have great freedom under responsibility, varying projects, and the opportunity to influence both your work and the company's development.

In this role, you lead and coordinate engineering assignments, ensure quality, and contribute technical solutions to the projects. You actively contribute to design through drawings and calculations, participate in design meetings, and maintain contact with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors. You also participate in sales and marketing efforts.

We work as general structural engineers in both small and large projects, from early stages to completed construction documents. The team and company possess good knowledge of execution, materials, and technical modeling.

Work is primarily performed Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30, but you have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work from. It is the project's needs, combined with yours, that dictate the schedule.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in independently planning and working with building structures and construction design.

Requirements

• At least eight years of experience in building structures and construction design.
• Good experience in handling projects.
• Good understanding of the construction process, including industry and authority requirements, as well as how to work in production.
• Good proficiency in steel, concrete, and timber structures.
• Good knowledge of statics.
• Civil Engineer or University College Engineer in construction or civil engineering.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits

• Experience in project leadership and customer responsibility.
• Experience from construction production.
• Good proficiency in design using Revit or Tekla.
• Experience in infrastructure engineering.

Location

We have offices in Kalmar, Karlskrona, and Oskarshamn. The location can be discussed.
