About the role

As an Electrical Preparer with our client, you work in both new construction and modification projects where you are responsible for converting design documents into complete and quality-assured production documentation for electrical installations and cabling.

You ensure that drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions are correct and complete, and you develop work orders and production methods that create good conditions for efficient manufacturing. When production starts, you act as technical support and help resolve issues that arise along the way.

In this role, you work closely with designers, procurement, production, and other preparers. You participate in design reviews, follow up on material issues, and actively contribute to improvement work within production and industrialization. The role offers a varied daily routine where you combine technical knowledge with collaboration and problem-solving.

This is an opportunity for you who have several years of experience in electrical installation, industrial electronics, or electrical production within industries such as manufacturing, marine operations, energy, or other production industries. Perhaps you currently work as an industrial electrician or installation electrician and want to take the step towards a more technical and planning-oriented role while maintaining a close connection to production.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary education in electricity, technology, or a related area, or equivalent work experience.
• Is proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Has experience with technical documentation and production documentation.
• Is computer literate and has experience with business or PDM systems.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is not required, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience in production preparation or production technology work.
• Experience from the marine industry, defense industry, or other complex manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge in cabling, electrical installations, or power supply systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or project work in cross-functional teams.

About the employment

This position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where our client requires security clearance, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

This is a consulting assignment where you are employed by Friday. We work on long-term assignments with our clients, which creates security and continuity for you in your role.
