Mora Hospital is one of Region Dalarna's two emergency hospitals, offering the proximity and community of a smaller hospital combined with a broad emergency mandate. The hospital is responsible for specialist and emergency care for approximately 80,000 residents and also receives many patients during the year's tourist and event seasons. The Operation Anesthesia ICU Clinic consists of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Central Operating Theatre, Day Surgery, and Sterile Technology. Advanced care is provided around the clock here, with approximately 1,500 ICU patients and 4,500–5,000 surgeries annually, primarily within surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. The clinic is also responsible for sterile technical services for the hospital and health centers in Region Dalarna, and participates in alarm teams, sedations, and patient transport.

As a Nursing Assistant on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you work in a highly specialized and technologically advanced care environment where the patient's needs are always at the center. You work in close partnership with a nurse, and together you are responsible for the care, monitoring, and treatment of critically ill patients. The work is varied and places high demands on precision, responsibility, and professional interaction. You become an important part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration and communication are crucial for providing safe, secure, and person-centered care. We are looking for you who:

• are trained as a Nursing Assistant and have completed the Care and Nursing Program or the vocational package Care and Nursing within adult education
• have a few years of experience working as a Nursing Assistant in healthcare or inpatient care

It is meritorious if you:

• have program specialization in Emergency Care and Medicine 2
• have experience in intensive care
• are a Specialist Nursing Assistant in anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and references. You need to have good teamwork skills and be flexible in your working methods, as the workload may vary during shifts.
