RESPONSIBILITIES

Öjaby School is a grades 1-6 school with just over 300 students. The school is beautifully located by Lake Helga. Öjaby School works for the well-being of all children and to create good relationships in a safe and accessible learning environment, giving students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

In the role of Student Assistant, you work at both group and individual levels to help, support, and stimulate students during the school day, during lessons, at recess, and at the after-school center.

In the assignment as a Student Assistant, it is important to be able to create structure and clarity in the student's school day, as well as to give the student the feeling of success during school days.

The work involves close contact with guardians and educators. Together with the class teacher and special education teacher, you plan the work with the student and establish common guidelines for interaction and approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a Student Assistant or have other relevant pedagogical education.

You are sensitive and flexible and have the ability to create stability by being a secure and wise adult.

As a person, you are positive, stress-resistant, structured, calm, flexible, and engaged. You leave nothing to chance but take responsibility for your work and follow joint decisions. You are used to working in a group but can also take individual initiatives to drive the work forward.

We place great emphasis on good cooperation skills, as the work involves close contact with guardians and educators.

We would appreciate it if you have experience with similar tasks; it is positive if you have experience working with low-affective handling and NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.

Employment Terms and Conditions

  • Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
  • Duration: 6 months or longer.
  • Start Date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
  • End Date: 2027-06-13.
