About Risingegården
Risingegården is a treatment home for girls (biological sex) aged 12–20. The young people we support are in complex life situations and have often grown up in disadvantaged circumstances. Many carry experiences of violence, substance abuse, and abuse, which has led to the development of risk behaviors, often in combination with neuropsychiatric conditions. They may exhibit various self-destructive behaviors and difficulties with emotion regulation. A common need is a mentalizing and trauma-informed environment that creates meaning, safety, and trust.
Our Values
Risingegården’s values are based on the equal worth of all people and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We meet everyone with genuine interest and joy, believing in everyone’s potential for change. We maintain a humble and attentive approach to all we meet. Risingegården is a place characterized by meaning, trust, clarity, and safety.
Why work at Risingegården?
We believe that working with young people is among the most important and rewarding things one can do. With over 30 years of experience in the field, we are well-established, yet our drive to develop and improve remains strong.
To enhance our own attentiveness and ability to interact well, all staff are trained as certified guides in the "Guiding Interaction"/ICDP program (www.icdp.se). At Risingegården, ICDP is a shared approach for all employees. In addition to ICDP, our operations are permeated by a mentalizing approach towards both the young people and each other. We work based on mentalization in daily life, individual conversations, and group settings.
Risingegården is an attractive workplace with a strong focus on employees, characterized by a humanistic view of people. We highly value good morale and a positive work environment, meaning engagement and participation permeate the entire operation.
Our large treatment unit is beautifully located in the nature-rich area of Risinge, just outside Finspång. Here, you have every opportunity to be inspired by a lunch walk in nature or a visit to our animals, which are located just a stone's throw from the house.
