We are currently looking for an engaged nursing assistant or care aide who wants to become part of our fantastic team. Here, you will meet a work team characterized by community, joy in work, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of our elderly.

The home care service performs qualified care work for residents who have been granted assistance under the Social Services Act (SOL). We provide services around the clock, every day of the year, to people who need support with care work. You will be part of a competent work group consisting of both nursing assistants and care aides operating in the northern parts of the municipality: Myrviken-Oviken and Hackås.

As part of our work team, you are responsible for planning and carrying out qualified care work in the individual's own home in consultation with colleagues and the unit manager. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools for achieving high-quality care and support. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual characterized by community, togetherness, participation, and activity.

The tasks involve helping people with, for example: social interaction, hygiene, dressing, and cleaning, as well as support during meals. The interventions you provide are based on respect for people's self-determination and integrity and are given on equal terms. The goal is to make it possible for the elderly to continue living in their own homes for as long as they wish, with a sense of security and quality. Tasks delegated by licensed health care personnel will also occur. The duties also include documentation and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or who have previous experience working as a care aide. The job requires flexibility and independence in your daily work, where communication and documentation are important tools. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license for passenger cars (Category B) is required.

Furthermore, we consider it desirable that you have previous experience from work in home care and/or healthcare. Berg Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it meritorious if you have knowledge of the Southern Sami language and culture.

Berg Municipality applies HÖK/AB (general terms) to the position. We apply individual salary setting. For this position, the current entry salary range is 23,700 – 30,600 SEK per month, depending on your previous experience and competence.
