About the Facility

Slättbergsvägen 222 is one of Trollhättan Municipality's 14 Specialized Housing for the Elderly (SÄBO) facilities. The facility opened its first unit in the spring of 2025 and was expanded in the autumn with an additional unit. Today, 20 places are offered with a focus on dementia care.

The facility has modern, newly renovated premises located in the scenic neighborhood of Stavre. Here, we are surrounded by beautiful green areas that provide excellent opportunities for walks and outdoor activities together with our residents.

Our focus is to provide high-quality care that creates conditions for a good quality of life for our elderly residents, based on their individual needs and circumstances. We work according to a Zero Vision, meaning dementia care without coercion and restrictions. Together, we strive to achieve our goals by sharing our knowledge and experience while promoting an inclusive and open work climate.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you will truly make a difference for our elderly residents! Here you are offered varied work involving care interventions, activities, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff. Together, we work based on the national value foundation to ensure that our elderly residents live with dignity and feel well-being by always striving to create the best possible conditions.

Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have experience working within SÄBO. It is also important that you are willing and confident in taking on the delegations required by the job. The work involves ongoing documentation, which requires good computer skills as well as good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

To thrive and succeed as a nursing assistant, we see that you are driven, action-oriented, and comfortable in a changing environment. At the same time, you are calm and secure in both yourself and your professional role. You have a natural ability to create good encounters with people, possess a large dose of empathy, and adapt your approach to the individual and the situation. You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Information

- To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must present a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or verify that you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant.

- You must also be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record register. You can order this via the police website: Criminal Record Register - Request Extract | Swedish Police Authority (polisen.se). Select the criminal record register "Children with disabilities".

- Interviews will take place in August.

- The position will be filled subject to necessary decisions being made.
