The role of Operational Buyer

As an Operational Buyer, you are responsible for placing orders in the business system based on demand planning and ensuring that the right materials are ordered at the right time. You follow up on deliveries against confirmed dates and drive deviations together with suppliers to ensure delivery precision. The role also involves handling and following up on complaints in close dialogue with the quality department to ensure corrective actions. You also have the opportunity to contribute to the department's improvement work, where we continuously work on developing our methods and routines.

The work is carried out in close cooperation with internal functions such as production, planning, and quality, as well as with external suppliers to ensure an efficient flow.

We are now looking for an Operational Buyer who will support our purchasing team for approximately 9 months.

Who we are looking for

We preferably see that you have relevant education in purchasing or logistics and experience in operational purchasing work, preferably in manufacturing companies. You have good administrative skills and experience working in business and purchasing systems. In addition, you are a proficient user of Excel and other Office programs.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and that you are self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to take responsibility and drive your tasks forward. You thrive in a role with many contact surfaces, both internal and external, and have good communication skills. Through a positive attitude and good teamwork skills, you contribute to strengthening the team's performance.
