I am a 43-year-old woman living in my own apartment in central Uppsala. I am now looking for an experienced personal assistant. I lead a social life and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Due to my autism, I need support in daily life to gain structure and to be able to live an independent and fulfilling life. As my assistant, you will be a crucial support in planning, daily routines, and in taking care of both myself and my home.

In my spare time, I appreciate activities such as horse riding, bowling, swimming, and walking. I also enjoy being creative by cooking, baking, painting, and doing crafts.

About you:

You are a woman and preferably have experience in personal assistance. If you also have knowledge about autism or similar functional variations, it is a plus, but personal chemistry and the right attitude weigh the heaviest. You are a calm and stable person who is receptive and empathetic. You have a pedagogical approach, take initiative, and have patience in your work. You are also curious, flexible, and enjoy coming up with new activities.

Experience with low-affective interaction and handling outbursts is meritorious but not a requirement.

The position:

The position is approximately 75%. The work is primarily during daytime on weekdays, but it may also involve work in the evenings, weekends, and nights (including sleeping on-call duties).

To be employed, you must present a valid ID, a certificate of good conduct (police record), and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden.
