Do you want to be part of something unique by creating a fully private 5G network that enables future automation solutions, such as remote control and autonomous transport? You will have the opportunity to build something from the ground up, from design and selection of technology and suppliers to implementation and maintenance.
The sustainable transition starts with us
We are facing our biggest challenge so far – ensuring that Sweden and Europe have what is needed to transition. So that we can live the life we want, now and in the future. Just as we want to improve the future, we want to develop everyone who is with us on this journey, both personally and professionally. Do you want to help lay the foundation for the life we live and the world we create?
Your role
As a specialist in private 5G networks, you work closely with operations to build, commission, and manage mobile network solutions in our environments, both above and below ground. The investment in private 5G networks is already underway on a smaller scale, and you will become part of the next step where we now scale up the solution in more parts of the organization. The role is unique as there are only a few actors in Sweden building and operating their own private 5G networks.
- Radio planning for private 4G/5G networks, both indoors and outdoors.
- Planning and execution of installations.
- Configuration of radio and baseband equipment.
- Configuration and management of core infrastructure (5G EPC).
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network performance.
You are part of a team with broad technical expertise in the area and contribute to developing the infrastructure that enables increased automation, efficiency, and safety in our production.
What you bring with you
You are someone who takes responsibility for your work and drives it forward in a structured manner. You have a good ability to find solutions, both independently and together with others, and contribute to good collaboration by being attentive and inclusive. We also see that you communicate clearly in both technical and operational contexts.
Requirements:
- At least upper secondary education.
- Practical experience in installation and commissioning of mobile networks.
- Experience with radio planning as well as coverage and capacity analysis.
- Good knowledge of 4G/5G radio, baseband, and antenna systems.
- Experience with network monitoring, alarm handling, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of IP networks, routing, and VLAN.
- Good skills in Swedish and English.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
Meritorious, but not a requirement:
- Experience with private 5G networks in industrial or mining environments.
- Experience from SIM card configuration and integrations with eSIM providers.
- Experience with equipment from, for example, Nokia or Ericsson.
- Knowledge of frequencies, spectrum, and regulatory requirements.
