About the job

As a boiler and drying operator, you are responsible for the operation of our timber dryers and boilers. You monitor and supervise the drying process, perform checks, and ensure that the timber is dried to the correct quality. The role also involves supervision, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting minor deviations. The position involves many contact points within the business, and you will actively contribute to developing working methods and creating a safe and efficient production.

Examples of tasks:

• Operation and supervision of dryers and boilers
• Moisture content and quality checks of timber
• Loading and unloading of dryers
• Supervision and preventive maintenance
• Handling of deviations and simple troubleshooting
• Participation in improvement and development work

The work involves intermittent two-shift system (morning/afternoon) as well as standby for boiler and drying for one week every fourth week. The standby is an important part of the role and means that you need to be able to step in and handle operational disruptions or alarms as needed outside of regular working hours.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, meticulous, and has a high safety awareness. You enjoy working practically and have an interest in technology and processes. Since the work involves both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues, it is important that you can take initiative while also functioning well in a team.

We believe you have:

• High school education, preferably with a technical focus
• Experience from an industrial or production environment
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Forklift license, tractor license (B1, C1)

You do not need to have long experience in similar work. For us, the most important thing is that you are curious, eager to learn, and have the right attitude. Through a structured introduction and training, you will gain the knowledge required to succeed in the role.
