About Pictura? Pictura is headquartered in Karlstad and consists of approximately 400 employees worldwide. We are a leading player in the Nordics within the FMCG (non-food) segment for specialty retail and grocery stores. Our assortment currently covers 26 product categories, ranging from greeting cards to sewing accessories, gift items, calendars, party products, and other store categories. We have our own operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the USA, France, Poland, and Germany, and we also export to several other markets. In the Nordics, we are one of the largest players in in-store sales and service. Our strength lies in simplifying our customers' daily lives by taking overall responsibility for selected categories, from assortment and display to follow-up and in-store service.

Operational Buyer
We are looking for an employee to join our purchasing group at our headquarters in Karlstad.

Responsibilities:
As a buyer, you are responsible for purchasing parts of our Scandinavian assortment. As a buyer, you are also responsible for:

• Analyzing sales statistics.
• Optimizing our purchases regarding volume and timing.
• Optimizing inventory levels and ensuring delivery security.
• Handling orders, order confirmations, invoices, and delivery follow-up.
• Collaborating with suppliers, our product development department, and our Scandinavian market companies.

Travel to our suppliers around the world may occur as part of the role.

Who are you?
To succeed in the role, you need to be unpretentious and have good collaboration skills. You are a person who enjoys helping and supporting your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who:
Is analytical, likes numbers, and handles them with ease. You are structured and have very good computer skills. You are communicative, self-motivated, and have a solution-oriented approach to work.

The role involves contact with international suppliers, which means you need to speak and write fluent English. We expect you to have a university degree with a focus on natural sciences or economics. Studies in logistics are an advantage.

Experience in purchasing/logistics and knowledge of Power BI or Crystal Reports are advantageous but not required. You can also be a recent graduate as long as you are willing to learn.
