About the Position

We are looking for a high school teacher for a permanent position at 60% teaching religion and history at the upper secondary level. You will primarily teach students on the Vehicle and Transport program and the Construction and Civil Engineering program.

You are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching, and you contribute to creating an inspiring, safe, and inclusive learning environment. The position also includes mentorship for a group of students.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a certified high school teacher with the qualifications to teach religion and history.
• Has strong pedagogical skills and a strong commitment to students' learning and development.
• Is relationship-building, structured, and enjoys collaborating with both students and colleagues.
• Preferably has experience teaching on vocational programs or an interest in practice-oriented education.

A valid extract from the Police's criminal record is required for employment in school. We also apply a 6-month probationary period.
