You will be employed by TNG or enter as a sub-consultant, working on behalf of our client in Stockholm. Here, you will contribute with technical investigations, RAMS competence, and vehicle safety in an assignment where your specialist knowledge has a direct impact on operations, reliability, and long-term cost efficiency. Your Responsibilities

As a consultant within the vehicle engineering field, you are responsible for contributing to ensuring that the client's vehicle fleet is safe, reliable, available, and cost-effective over time. Among other things, you will:

• Conduct technical and economic investigations, for example during procurement, changes, or new acquisitions
• Perform analyses and investigations in the event of deviations, accidents, and incidents
• Conduct risk analyses according to CSM-RA
• Monitor operations and performance from a technical, economic, and operational perspective
• Prepare technical documentation and support approval processes during changes, modifications, and new acquisitions
• Capture, analyze, and handle technical deviations in dialogue with internal and external parties
• Ensure that vehicle documentation, manuals, and technical documentation are up to date
• Work actively with RAMS: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety
• Drive and lead smaller technical assignments related to the vehicle fleet as needed

Our Expectations

To succeed in this assignment, we see that you meet the following expectations:

• Several years of relevant experience as a vehicle engineer, technical specialist, or in a similar role
• Experience with technical investigations, analyses, and preparation of technical documentation
• Good understanding of vehicle safety, reliability, availability, and maintainability
• Experience in analyzing deviations, accidents, incidents, or technical faults
• Knowledge of risk analyses and structured safety work
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work on-site at the client in Stockholm
• Availability for consulting assignments starting August 17, 2026

Meritorious:

• Experience with CSM-RA
• Experience with RAMS work within railway, transport, industry, or other safety-critical operations
• Experience with approval processes during changes, modifications, or new acquisitions
• Experience with vehicle documentation, manuals, and technical requirements
• Experience driving smaller technical assignments or projects
• Previous experience with consulting assignments in technically complex environments
