About the Role

As a Production Technician specializing in electricity/automation, you play a key role in developing, quality-assuring, and optimizing production. You work closely with the operations to drive improvements in processes and methods, while ensuring stable production performance. The role combines operational problem-solving with a long-term focus on improvement, requiring strong technical understanding, collaboration skills, and the ability to translate needs into sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support production in daily operations by quickly handling technical issues and contributing to stable performance.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate actions during disruptions in machinery, control systems, and other technical installations.
• Drive and develop production technical improvements that enhance quality, capacity, operational reliability, and flow efficiency.
• Identify, analyze, and implement improvements in production processes, working methods, and layout.
• Ensure operation, development, and maintenance of electrical and automation solutions connected to machinery and production equipment.
• Participate in technical projects, installations, and start-ups of new or refurbished equipment.
• Create and develop technical documentation, instructions, and standards that support structured and efficient working methods.
• Monitor operation, maintenance, and simpler technical issues related to the building's functionality.

The position is located at our production facilities in Gullringen. You report to the Head of Production Support, start date according to agreement.

About You

We are looking for you who have education in electricity, automation, production technology, or a related field, along with experience from manufacturing industry. You feel confident working close to production with electricity, automation, control systems, or technical maintenance.

To succeed in this role, we see that you thrive in an environment where everything is not fully defined. You are accustomed to handling problems that arise in daily life, but also have the ability to look ahead, prioritize, and work systematically to find long-term solutions.

• Structured and clear in your working methods, with the ability to prioritize.
• Non-hierarchical and participatory – you are part of the solution, not just the one pointing out problems.

You are technically curious and motivated by improving, simplifying, and creating a more stable production over time. For this role, you also need good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as well as experience working in business systems, preferably Monitor.

Surewood Housing is a long-term housing developer that builds well-designed, affordable, and sustainable row houses and multi-family homes. Surewood Housing delivers housing as total contractors, but can also support through the entire chain, from land acquisition to turnkey houses.

We operate nationwide with offices in Gullringen, Stockholm, and Malmö. The houses are manufactured as modules in our state-of-the-art production facility in Gullringen, which we acquired from Skanska in 2025, to now deliver and assemble turnkey houses on site.
