Your Role

As a school nurse, you are a vital part of the school's student health services. You work to promote health, prevent illness, and provide support to create the best conditions for students' development and learning.

You conduct health visits, health conversations, and vaccinations, while contributing your medical expertise to the student health team. You collaborate closely with school leadership, teachers, special education teachers, counselors, and guardians to create a safe and inclusive school environment.

At our school, the school nurse is more than just a medical resource. You are a present adult who builds trusting relationships with students and contributes a health-promoting perspective to the school's development work.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse, school nurse, or pediatric nurse.
• Have previous experience working as a school nurse.
• Have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with other professions within student health.
• Are confident in your professional role and have a structured approach to work.
• Share our belief that good relationships are a prerequisite for learning and well-being.
