The Operations and Maintenance department is responsible for supervision, repair, and operation of outdoor environments, buildings, and installations over time, ensuring good technical condition and satisfied customers. This is achieved through close collaboration with customers, other departments within the administration, and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for conducting inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures. We carry out the tasks commissioned by our customers.

The Alarm, Electrical Technology, and Elevator unit is now looking for you who wants to make a difference with tools in hand and who is attracted by the variety in the work. The main task of the unit is to work with supervision & maintenance and repairs at our facilities. It is our duty to ensure that everyone feels safe in the buildings we manage. We ensure that regulations, laws, and requirements from, among others, the rescue services, insurance companies, and the City of Gothenburg are followed.

Job Responsibilities

You plan your own working day within clear frameworks, enjoy variety, take responsibility, and work with both repairs and troubleshooting, as well as training our tenants on alarm issues.

As an alarm technician with us, you will:

• Perform repairs on security installations
• Conduct operational rounds/function checks and service on security installations
• Inform and train our tenants on alarm issues and operation

Qualifications

For the position, we are looking for you who has:

• Secondary education with a focus on electricity/telecommunications/low voltage
• Experience working with computerized security systems
• Experience troubleshooting security systems

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of access/lock systems
• Experience installing security systems
• Ability to present orally in groups
• Experience installing electrical/telecommunications systems

A B-class driver's license and good computer skills are required for the position.
