Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with Ambulance, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each local care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the close care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

At our health center, we employ district doctors, ST-doctors, district nurses, nurses, enrolled nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, counselors, midwives, child health center nurses, rehab coordinators, and more. We focus on a good work environment, development, highlight improvements, and everyone contributes to maintaining this. We work patient-focused and always prioritize the patient's best interest for our approx. 7,600 registered patients.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include sample collection at our own lab and assisting in specific medical examinations such as gynecological examinations, rectoscopy, and smear clinics. We have a dedicated infection pathway for infectious patients where the enrolled nurse assists the doctor in examination and treatment. In addition, as an enrolled nurse, you have your own clinic for tasks such as suturing, blood draws, and ear irrigation.

Home visits to patients who have difficulty getting to the health center for sample collection are an important part of the enrolled nurse's work. Other duties include, for example, responsibility for laundry and storage, as well as some administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an enrolled nurse education with a healthcare focus. Requirements include experience from emergency care and/or primary care. You should have experience with sample collection and enjoy working in a changing environment. You should be outgoing, flexible, and accustomed to meeting patients with different needs, and thrive in the role as the "face outward" at the health center. You must be able to work both independently and in a team.

We expect you to contribute your competence and good customer service together with your colleagues to provide patients with the best possible care. You thrive in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good work climate through your initiative and sense of responsibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Category B driver's license is required.
