In addition to healthcare, our family on the Support and Care Department consists of LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), the catering unit, Employment and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

RESPONSIBILITIES

We work with SÄBO (Special Housing with Special Care for the Elderly) and home healthcare across three locations in the municipality. As part of the rehabilitation team, you will collaborate with physiotherapists, district nurses, registered nurses, care staff, needs assessors, and unit managers. The role involves home visits in both ordinary housing and special housing. To obtain a comprehensive overview of the individual and their life situation, we strive for joint home visits and assessments by occupational therapists and physiotherapists. We discuss interventions within the team to ensure we work towards the same goals and avoid counterproductive measures.

In addition to patient work, your responsibilities include supervision, instruction, training, and information for care staff and relatives/caregivers. We have a health-promoting, preventive, and rehabilitative approach to increase the possibility of an active life with good quality of life, based on the individual's own conditions and resources.

We can offer you participation and influence over the group's development, with room to grow in your professional role and as an individual. You have your own influence on the design of your working days in consultation with colleagues. Working hours are 08:00–17:00 Monday–Friday with flexibility options. Wellness benefits or wellness hours are offered, as well as participation in the "Good and Close Care" project together with the Health Center.

Since the work also involves supervising other healthcare staff, you should find this stimulating. We also have a collaboration with primary care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

The position requires that you have a Category B driver's license.

As a person, you have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious. We place great importance on personal suitability.

It is meritorious if you have prior experience as an occupational therapist.
