Job Responsibilities

We are looking for temporary staff for our meal services, both cooks and meal assistants who want to work in a flexible role. At Meal Service, you get the opportunity to be part of the journey towards Sweden's best public meal service! Here, you prepare meals for the world's most important guests: children, young people, and the elderly. You contribute to serving delicious, sustainable, and healthy meals every day.

Your role involves stepping in with short notice to cover for regular staff absences. Through the booking system TimeCarePool, you have the opportunity to control which days you are available for work. To ensure continuity in our operations, we expect you to be able to work at least three days a week.

Upon employment, there will be an overview of the meal service tasks and booking for shadowing and introduction.

Qualifications

To work as a temporary staff member in meal services with us, you need:

• A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions ("work in school or preschool")
• The ability to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic computer skills
• To be at least 18 years old

You should have food safety training. Experience working in large-scale kitchens is a merit. It is important that you work efficiently under stress, can balance different demands, and keep your cool in difficult situations. The ideal candidate has a burning interest in cooking good food, wants to develop within the profession, and has a sense of service. Knowledge of special diets and various forms of food allergies is a plus.

You must be able to receive meal instructions both in writing and verbally in Swedish. Therefore, as a temporary worker, you must be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.
