Business Developer with a focus on FME Development
The Swedish Land Survey (Lantmäteriet) is the authority responsible for mapping Sweden. Our tasks also include registering and securing the ownership of all real estate properties and managing their boundaries. We are now looking for you who have a strong commitment to society.
In order for houses, bridges, and roads to be built, knowledge about Sweden's geography and real estate is required. By mapping reality and providing current information about the country's topography and infrastructure, you contribute to the foundation of a sustainable and functioning society.
Responsibilities
Within the area of real estate information, there is exciting work and development underway. To our function Internal Assignments, we are therefore looking for a Business Developer with a focus on FME development, who wants to contribute to meeting society's need for real estate information. Our function primarily works with quality development and information management of the real estate information, which is stored in the Swedish Land Survey's real estate register.
As a Business Developer, you will among other things work with processing information (information analysis, troubleshooting, etc.) with a focus on FME. In the role of Business Developer, it may also become relevant to lead and drive assignments, projects, or teams for longer or shorter periods.
We work in a team-based manner, and as a member of our team, you will work agilely and actively contribute to efficiency and improvements in the development process. In the team, we share experiences and help each other solve problems. Here you will find a culture where your knowledge is valued and you are offered the opportunity to grow both individually and as a group.
The placement is at one of the Swedish Land Survey's offices in Norrbotten County (Luleå, Kiruna, Gällivare, Haparanda). The majority of the team members are located in Kiruna, which is why regular presence in Kiruna is required.
A flexible and sustainable way of working is important to us, which is why we strive for it. The hybrid workplace is an example of this. This means that to the extent the business allows, you as an employee can perform your duties at a location other than the office.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for you who have:
- A university degree in geodata or information science, or alternatively other education combined with work experience, which we assess as relevant for the position.
- A university degree or at least one year of experience in script development and database knowledge.
- At least one year of experience working in a leadership role within a team or project.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Meritorious:
- Knowledge of FME and SQL.
- Knowledge of information in the general part of the real estate register.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and has the ability to see the big picture while being analytical and structured. You are positive, driven, have good skills in planning, structuring, and following up on operations, as well as good teamwork skills. You are willing to learn, develop in your work, and share your observations and experiences.
The position is security-classified; a approved security investigation with register control and a subsequent security interview are prerequisites for employment.
