The Team
At the regimental staff, there are nine departments, of which the Security Department (J2) serves as support to the Commander of the Signal Regiment (LedR) in the areas of security protection and IT/information security. J2 is a team consisting of both officers and civilian employees of varying ages and backgrounds.
We are now looking for a security case officer with main responsibilities in the exposure of security-sensitive activities (ESV) and security vetting, located at the LedR Security Department (J2) in Enköping.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of security case officer, you provide support to the Security Chief and the regiment's units in the work of protecting Sweden's security, including during procurement and personnel hiring. The main tasks involve measures and case handling within the framework of security protection, including analyses, assessments, security protection agreements, and security vetting interviews.
You will work in close collaboration with the department's other security case officers, as well as operational managers and personnel within security protection at units that need support in security protection work, primarily personnel security.
Your main areas of responsibility are:
- Security protection agreements and security protection understandings
- Security vetting and register checks
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS)
To succeed in the role, we see that you have
- High school diploma
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to write clear and target-group adapted texts in Swedish (academic level/official prose)
- Good reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English
- Ability to process large amounts of information and translate into practical action
- Current work experience
- Good computer skills

You have a high security awareness, are meticulous, and are driven by creating order and structure as well as analyzing and structuring information. To thrive in this position, you need to have good social competence, high integrity, and be unpretentious and receptive in meeting the operations you are to support.
MERITORIOUS
- Experience in teaching
- Knowledge and/or experience in conversation methodology, interview techniques, difficult conversations, or similar knowledge that the employer deems equivalent
- Experience in conducting analyses and assessments within areas such as security vetting, security protection, or employment interviews
- Education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas; Personnel security, Signal security, Public procurement, Physical security, Information security, IT security, Supplier security.
- Knowledge of the Security Protection Act and its application.
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' values and security-sensitive activities, such as ESV.
- Experience in independent case handling within a public authority
- Security case officer education (e.g., KHS within the Swedish Armed Forces)
