Your role

LKAB is driving the world's most extensive societal transformation as a direct consequence of the continued mining in Malmberget. To ensure that this historic change is carried out with control, quality, and long-term sustainability, we are now looking for Project Controllers to join our organization.

As a Project Controller, you work closely with our project managers and societal transformation functions, becoming a key person in creating financial transparency and stability in projects that affect Gällivare's future development. You contribute to ensuring that our investments, compensation processes, and urban development projects are carried out with clear financial management and well-founded decision-making support.

Your main responsibilities

• Financial monitoring — Continuously monitor costs, revenues, and deviations in projects.
• Budgeting and forecasting — Prepare and quality-assure budgets and long-term forecasts for projects with very large financial frameworks and long time horizons.
• Reporting and decision support — Produce analyses, monthly reports, and key performance indicators for LKAB's management, steering groups, and collaboration forums.
• Support to project managers — Act as an active advisor on financial matters and ensure that project managers have the right basis for planning, prioritization, and follow-up.

With good structure and attention to detail, you efficiently handle large amounts of data and multiple parallel projects, even during periods of high tempo. You are driven to find solutions and see opportunities in complex contexts, while maintaining a business-like approach and a natural ability to see the big picture in our projects and investments.

• University-level education in Economics/Finance
• Positive and solution-oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious:

• Experience working in industry-adjacent environments
• Experience with projects in industry, real estate, infrastructure
• Experience from the public sector in urban planning/community building
• Experience in accounting work
