Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is a big task. Contributing to societal development is even bigger. With us, you get to do both. We are now looking for a Supervisor in Operations and Maintenance for our establishment in Uddevalla for a fixed-term position of approximately 12 months, as we see increased demand within our contracts in the area. At Svevia, we combine the small company's sense of community and team spirit with the stability of a large corporation. Here you have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist – with engagement, collaboration, and responsibility.

As a Supervisor with us, you will work broadly within operations and maintenance, focusing on planning, leading, and following up on work in our contracts. In this role, you will work closely with several of our site managers in the region. In addition, you will collaborate closely with professional staff and subcontractors, playing a central role in ensuring that our projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

Your role as Supervisor

In this role, you are responsible for planning production based on orders, coordinating resources, and ensuring that the work follows set goals regarding time, cost, and quality. An example of focus areas you will work with is the renewal and replacement of road equipment. You are involved in the entire process – from work preparation and startup to follow-up, analysis, and improvement work.

You also serve as a key link in the dialogue with the customer, ensuring that the contract is followed and handling any deviations.

Examples of your tasks:

  • Plan, lead, and follow up on work within operations and maintenance
  • Work with work preparations, scheduling, and resource booking
  • Coordinate professional staff and subcontractors in daily work
  • Follow up on production, economy, and capacities, and identify deviations
  • Ensure good working environment and high safety focus in all tasks

You will also be an important part of our work with winter and traffic readiness, where planning, follow-up, and dialogue with the client are central.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education or more than 2 years of experience from road maintenance
  • Ability to plan, structure, and follow up work in a business with several parallel assignments
  • Good computer skills and interest in digital working methods
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience from operations, maintenance, or winter road maintenance
  • Experience in production follow-up, economy, or analysis work
Your personality is important to us!

We are looking for someone who is structured and can plan their work even when conditions change. You take responsibility for the work moving forward, while having good analytical skills and being able to see connections between production, economy, and quality. Since you will work with several different contracts and site managers in this role, we consider it crucial that you are confident and responsible in your communication. You see collaboration as an important part while contributing to a good team spirit.

The position is a fixed-term employment of approximately 12 months, full-time. You are based at our office in Uddevalla and report to the Site Manager. The position includes both winter and summer readiness. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.

We warmly welcome your application today!
