Orust – the green and safe island where thoughts are free and dreams come to life. We invest in development, welfare, and our employees. We are proud that our latest employee survey showed that nearly 90% of our staff are proud to work for Orust Municipality. Welcome to us!
About the workplace
Food and facility services belong to the Community Development sector and consist of four geographical areas with a total of approximately 70 employees.
Through our work, we ensure that the municipality's special housing, schools, and preschools enjoy good and nutritious meals.
You will be based in Svanesund and be part of a work group of six people. Ängås School is a comprehensive school (grades 1–9) with approximately 500 students. The kitchen is a production kitchen that also delivers food to two nearby preschools.
We work actively with digitalization and increasing our share of organic food, which currently stands at 60%. In 2022, Orust Municipality was named the leading-edge municipality of the year by Ekomatscentrum, and we were awarded Orust Municipality's quality prize for our work in digitalizing self-control.
