The catering department is looking for a kitchen assistant for the reception kitchen at Hogane Preschool. The position is a temporary assignment of 81 percent from 2026-08-03 to 2027-08-13.

We work to serve nutritious and delicious food!

We are looking for you who want to engage with us to develop our kitchen. We follow the Swedish Food Agency's guidelines regarding food for children in preschool, students in primary school, and food for the elderly.

If needed, you may be placed in other kitchens.

Responsibilities

Simple cooking, salad preparation, tasting, handling all food items used in the kitchen, and serving the food in a practical and pleasant manner. Other common tasks include dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen premises. Ordering supplies and some cooking. The work requires active participation in the operations so that guests can expect a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position of kitchen assistant are:

• You have good and current knowledge of food hygiene and special diets.
• Work experience from a similar type of kitchen.
• All written instructions and other communication take place in Swedish, so we require that you speak and understand Swedish well.

We would also like you to have:

• Be engaged and driven.
• Good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude.
• Be stress-resistant, flexible, and have good organizational skills, and be able to work both in a group and independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Look forward to participating with students, care recipients, and customers.

Conditions

Holiday pay, monthly salary, and other employment benefits according to the current collective agreement. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday.
