Job Description

Do you want to help lay the foundation for tomorrow's society?

If you have experience in concrete production, health and safety issues within the construction industry, work in a process-oriented manner, and have an interest in being part of an organization that contributes to digitalization and building for the future, then this might be the role for you.

Are you a skilled machine operator who thrives in a varied job where you can combine driving with technical responsibility? At Randstad, we are now looking for an engaged employee for an exciting rental assignment with one of our clients in the building materials industry.

We are looking for someone who has "machines in their blood". Perhaps you are used to tinkering with tractors, are a smith with a mechanical interest, or a handy person from the construction industry who wants to take the next step?

As a person, you are flexible and unpretentious. You take initiative and see what needs to be done before anyone else asks you. You will be part of a team that independently manages production and planning under the direction of a factory manager, which requires good teamwork skills and a strong safety mindset.

Are you the one we are looking for? Don't wait to apply! We review applications on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that operations and manufacturing run according to established routines. You have an eye for detail and work proactively to optimize processes.

Your main tasks include:

  • Operation, manufacturing, and control according to established instructions.
  • Conduct both internal and external sampling to ensure product quality.
  • Actively participate in improvement projects to streamline the production process.
  • Handling order reception (where regional customer service is lacking).
  • Reporting deviations, incidents, and complaints to continuously improve operations.
  • Safety is our highest priority. You are expected to act in accordance with laws and regulations and actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. You have the authority to stop dangerous work procedures if the situation requires it.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

  • Category B driver's license
  • Good IT skills
  • Training certificate for wheel loaders (material handling).
  • Experience in machine operation.
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing for safe communication in the workplace.

Merits:

  • Experience with ballast or concrete (e.g., Concrete Class 1 or 2).
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience with screwing and repairing.
  • Experience working in high-tempo production flows.
