Are you a person with a pedagogical aptitude, inherent curiosity, and problem-solving skills? At Myrviken School, we are looking for a new colleague for the autumn term of 2026 to work with grades 7–9, with an interest in learning and social work. You will become part of an experienced and inquisitive team that puts the student and their learning at the center. In addition to working as a student resource, your role will also include collaborating with the school's safety team.

Job Responsibilities

The work consists of supporting individual students throughout the school day, together with other educators in the work team. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the work team, as well as with the principal and special education teacher, to design support measures based on each student's individual needs. You will support students' learning as well as their social interaction during breaks and between lessons. Tasks may be performed individually or in a classroom setting, and you will also spend part of your time working with the school's safety team. Your base will be at our upper secondary level (grades 7–9).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in pedagogy or social work that the employer deems relevant for this position. Previous experience working as a student assistant in primary school is advantageous. Experience in collaborating on social issues and outreach activities is also considered an advantage. You must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Bergs Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, so knowledge of the Sami language and culture is an advantage.

The positions are fixed-term appointments with 65% and 80% full-time equivalents, with a start date for the autumn term of 2026, subject to agreement with the principal. Bergs Municipality applies HÖK/AB (General Terms) to the position. We apply individual salary setting. For this position, the current entry salary range is 25,000–28,000 SEK per month, depending on your previous experience and competence.
