About the Position

Hede Preschool has two departments and is located near forests and nature. Härjedalen Municipality is a Sami administrative area, which is why the preschool works actively with Sami integration. We constantly work on the development and quality assurance of the preschool, so-called systematic quality work.

One of our employees is soon going on parental leave, and the preschool needs a substitute in her place.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a preschool teacher are to work in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for the preschool, LpFö 2018. You will be responsible for planning, follow-up, and documentation of the activities, as well as carrying out pedagogical activities for children aged 1–5 together with the work team. Hede Preschool uses pedagogical documentation as a tool to achieve the goals of the curriculum.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher or alternatively have good experience within the profession. You should be accustomed to taking personal responsibility and be a good role model, being sensitive to children's expressions of will. You should be a present educator who finds it easy to collaborate with different people and always keep the focus on your mission together with the children.

Good language skills in Sami are meritorious. The role also involves being a good role model for children and colleagues, having a good understanding of the equal value of all people, what we call a trust-based approach.

For this position, providing an extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
