The Swedish Armed Forces are in an expansion phase and on a significant growth journey. Here you have the opportunity to work in a dedicated and recently established department where you will develop while contributing to the organization's and department's development journey. In your role as Operations Administrator, you will be a key piece in driving the staff and military region's various processes.
Regional Staff North, J7
The Northern Military Region's staff is located in Boden. Department J7 handles education and exercise issues as well as operational safety within the Northern Military Region (MR N). The department has various capabilities and focus areas, with the main focus on coordinating, planning, monitoring, and evaluating exercise and training activities conducted within the military region.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordination of the military region's mission-driven support to voluntary defense organizations and follow-up of conditions for implementation.
- Development of administration related to attraction, recruitment, retention, and decommissioning of volunteers.
- Support the planning of music activities within MR N.
- Provide administrative support within the entire department's operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Secondary education with passing grades.
- Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Post-secondary education or experience relevant to the tasks.
- Driver's license category B (manual).

Merits
- Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and the Home Guard.

The work may involve travel both domestically and internationally.
Working hours are partly irregular.

The Northern Military Region (MR N) is responsible for territorial land command in the four northern counties.
The region consists of a staff and five training groups. The operations are located from Kiruna in the north to Härnösand in the south. At MR N, there are seven Home Guard battalions and several support functions.
