About the role
As an Azure Specialist in the Server & Storage Team, you will help ensure that our cloud platform is robust, secure, and manageable in the long term. You will play a central role in our continued cloud journey, as we increasingly transition to a cloud-based and automated platform – and here you will become a key person! The role has a clear Azure focus (approx. 70%), where you work with managing, developing, and shaping our platform forward. At the same time, you are also responsible for parts of our Windows Server environment (approx. 30%) in a hybrid context.

An important part of the role is to act as a consultant to internal operations – you help translate needs into sustainable solutions in Azure, while contributing to utilizing the platform's full potential. You work both operationally and developmentally, in close collaboration with other areas such as networking, database, and digital workplace.

Examples of tasks within Azure

• Management and further development of the Azure platform
• Work with governance, policies, RBAC, and cost control
• Support operations with advice and solution proposals in Azure
• Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Backup, DR, and security work

Examples of tasks within Windows Server

• Operation and management of the Windows Server environment
• Patching, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting
• Improvement of standards, documentation, and routines

You will become part of a helpful team that together drives improvement and development in close collaboration. There is a strong focus on automation as well as education and environmental scanning to stay at the forefront of technology. You will also contribute to improvement initiatives and the development of our CAF and Landing Zones.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
• Experience with Azure in an operational or platform context, including monitoring and automation
• Experience with Windows Server operations
• Good knowledge of server management in Azure and Windows Defender
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English

Conditions and application
The position is a permanent full-time role based in Gothenburg. Västtrafik offers a flexible work arrangement consisting of both office and remote work. Depending on the assignment, the position may be placed in a security class. Depending on needs and agreement, on-call duties may also be included in the role.
