Responsibilities

The goal of the project is to study sodium-based solid electrolytes through quantum mechanical modeling. Interfaces with the electrodes are of interest for the project, as is the ionic conductivity.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A completed PhD degree or a foreign degree assessed to be equivalent to a PhD.
  • A PhD in Physics or Materials Science. A PhD in Chemistry may also be considered.
  • Postdoctoral researcher. Documented experience with atomistic simulation codes based on Density Functional Theory (DFT), such as VASP and Quantum Espresso.
