Höglandsskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school in the nature-rich area of Bromma, with approximately 460 students and 55 employees. Your role

You will teach students in Swedish (grades 7-9) and Social Studies (grade 9). Your work includes all typical teaching duties and adapting the teaching based on the student group. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment/grading, and evaluation of the classes you teach. The position also includes mentorship in grade 9 together with another colleague.

You will belong to the lower secondary school's work team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• Are certified with eligibility in the subject.
• Have several years of documented experience in the teaching profession.
• Use digital working methods as an enhancement in teaching.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. You involve the student in the planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have self-insight, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for cooperation and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role in an effective manner.
