About the Position

Broad diagnostics are conducted at the Physiology Clinic at Östersund Hospital, primarily within cardiology, circulatory medicine, and pulmonology. Some nuclear medicine is also included in the operations. We work regular office hours and do not have on-call duties.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and wish to become a Specialist Trainee (ST-läkare) in Clinical Physiology. 1 position.

Responsibilities

Standard duties as a Specialist Trainee. Practical execution, processing, and interpretation of physiological examinations, initially within cardiology, and subsequently covering our entire operation. Eventually, ward rounds and supervision of other physicians (own ST-physicians/attending/auscultating physicians). You will receive a comprehensive introduction tailored to your previous experience.

Qualifications and Merits

• Hold a Swedish medical license.
• Have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Provide good customer service, are unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills.
• Have good communication skills.
• Take responsibility and can prioritize.
• Flexible and work well independently as well as in a team.
• Previous work experience as a physician is meritorious, especially within Clinical Physiology, Cardiology, or General Practice.
