MLA, Medical Responsible Doctor – Nära Vård Berg Bräcke Ragunda

We are looking for an MLA (Medical Responsible Doctor) who wants to drive the medical development of "Nära Vård" (Close Care). This role offers you the opportunity to influence the design of future healthcare through dedicated time and participation in strategic groups.

You are a positive and humble General Practitioner with specialist competence in general medicine and a Swedish license. You are passionate about driving development towards Nära Vård and are willing to propose ideas while also supporting others' initiatives to ensure the best possible implementation. As a person, you are solution-oriented, structured, and flexible. You have good skills in working both independently and in teams, and you have an open mind towards change.

About the role

The position is a permanent appointment as a General Practitioner with a four-year mandate as MLA. You will work 30% as MLA and the remaining time as a clinical General Practitioner at one of the area's health centers. Upon request, a large part of the MLA time can be arranged as remote work.

As MLA, you will be the business manager's closest medical support and a member of the area's leadership group. You will collaborate closely with the PLA (Psychological Leadership Responsible), business developers, unit managers, and colleagues with MLU (Medical Responsible Nurse) assignments. Together, we drive issues with the patient in focus, with a strong emphasis on Smart Clinical Choices and the transition according to the Joint Health Care Commission's decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive medical development towards Nära Vård.
• Participate in the leadership group and collaborate with the PLA and MLUs at the units.
• Participate in groups at the Primary Care level and Region-wide.
• Clinical work: assess, investigate, treat, and advise patients with various complaints.
• Work with health promotion, group activities, and digital channels.
• Work evidence-based to prevent long-term sick leave and promote a quick return to work.

About the workplace

Nära Vård Berg Bräcke Ragunda includes health centers in Myrviken, Svenstavik, Bräcke, Kälarne, Hammarstrand, and Stugun, as well as branches in Storsjö kapell, Gällö, and Bispgården. We have a strong team spirit where doctors, midwives, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, assistants, and rehabilitation coordinators work together.

We offer a high level of service with the patient in focus. In Svenstavik and Hammarstrand, there is an own radiology clinic, and one is launching in Bräcke this autumn. All units have access to a psychosocial clinic (PSM) with psychologists and counselors, as well as physiotherapy with physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
