Are you a dedicated nurse who wants to work at Östersund Municipality's largest residential facility for elderly citizens? Then we are looking for you!

We are now looking for a nurse for Häradsgården in Lit, approximately 20 km outside of Östersund. The facility has 58 places for citizens with special housing support (SÄBO) as well as a short-term care unit with 16 places, located in close proximity to the health center and pharmacy. Here, nurses and dedicated care staff work together every day, providing excellent conditions for teamwork. An occupational therapist and physiotherapist are available nearby every weekday. The position is a full-time temporary assignment from September 1st to December 31st, with a high chance of extension within the municipality.

Your new job

As a nurse with us, we offer attractive working hours where you work daytime hours from 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, as well as every sixth weekend. Light weekends and heavy weekends are distributed based on agreement among all nurses in the area. You will perform individualized health and medical care tasks with a focus on each citizen's unique needs. In your work, you collaborate closely with your nursing colleagues and care staff, and you also collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as regional nurses and doctors at the health center. Your duties include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating medical treatment and care interventions. Other important tasks include supervising and educating care staff and delegating tasks. You document and update patient records continuously in our operational systems.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious

  • Work experience as a nurse
  • Work experience from municipal elderly care
  • Work experience from municipal healthcare
  • Experience with systems Viva, Cosmic Link
  • Good computer skills
