Hammarstrand is beautifully situated by the Indalsälven river. Here you will find hiking trails, ski tracks, a downhill ski slope, shops, a café, running tracks, a preschool, and primary, middle, and upper secondary schools.

Hammarstrand is located approximately 10 miles from Östersund and 11 miles from Sundsvall. Commuting to Östersund by bus is possible. In the surrounding area, there are many beautiful villages with good opportunities to rent or buy houses at a reasonable cost. Life here is both simple and pleasant!

Hammarstrand Health Centre has permanent staff, including doctors, midwives, district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, rehab coordinators, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Approximately 3,650 patients are registered here. Hammarstrand also has an ambulance station with a 24/7 manned vehicle. Stugun Health Centre also has permanent staffing with doctors, nurses, and assistant nurses. Other categories are staffed from Hammarstrand a few days a week. Approximately 1,250 patients are registered here. Additionally, there is a well-functioning district nurse clinic in Bispgården.

The staff at Hammarstrand Health Centre are active in the transition to close-to-home care. For at least the next three years, there are good financial opportunities to try new working methods and continue adapting to future requirements and challenges. We have a good collaboration with the municipality, which makes the work easy and enjoyable.

Job Responsibilities

Working as a physiotherapist with us means assessing and treating patients in primary care with various functional impairments/diagnostic groups and rehabilitation needs. Based on this, it is an advantage if you enjoy variety in your work.

The employer is Region Jämtland Härjedalen, but the employment will be distributed between Region Jämtland Härjedalen and Ragunda Municipality.

The work includes home visits, work in special housing, and clinical work at the health centre. Patients of all ages and types of ailments may be encountered. You will be part of a close care team consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists from both the health centre and the municipality.

The physiotherapist also staffs Stugun Health Centre 1-2 days a week.

Qualifications

• Licensed physiotherapist (sjukgymnast).
• Experience from primary care is meritorious.
• A Category B driver's license is required. Experience is required.
• Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
