As an Accountant, you will become an important part of the Finance team and be responsible for accounting, year-end closing, and financial reporting for several companies within the group. The role involves close collaboration with operations, the payroll function, and controllers, as well as external contacts such as external auditors and consultants. You work both structurally and analytically, contributing to ensuring accurate financial reporting while participating in the development of processes, systems, and working methods.

Your Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you are responsible for ongoing accounting, reconciliations, and year-end closing for several companies within the group. You work with the analysis of income statements and balance sheets, as well as monitoring actual results against budgets to ensure accurate and relevant reporting.

You participate in group accounting and consolidation work, prepare annual reports, provide material for audits and regulatory reporting. In addition, you support operations with accounting matters, conduct analyses and investigations, and contribute to projects and development initiatives within finance. An important part of the role is also to contribute to the development of our reporting and consolidation systems.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Economics or equivalent post-secondary education in economics.
• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with financial systems, where experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the Process

This is a permanent full-time position located at our office in Luleå. Start date is by agreement. In the recruitment process, we use psychometric tests and work samples as part of the selection process.
