Our Operations

Akademiska Sjukhuset is now looking for an engaged counselor for one of our Psychosis Clinics in outpatient care. Here, you will work in a competent team offering specialized care to patients with psychotic disorders. We work based on national guidelines with a person-centered and team-based approach where each patient has a dedicated coordinator.

Your Role

In the role of counselor here, you will work with psychosocial assessments and individually adapted counseling treatments. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from other professions to ensure a cohesive care process. An important part of the position is to offer support and guidance to patients and their relatives, both through individual support sessions and in relative groups. You will also actively collaborate with municipalities, social services, and other healthcare providers to create the best possible conditions for patients. Here, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of operations by participating in continuous improvement work.

Your Qualifications and Competencies

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work, and we would prefer that you are a licensed healthcare counselor. Previous experience from psychiatric care, especially within the area of psychosis, as well as knowledge of and experience in supporting relatives, are meritorious. As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating. You have the ability to work independently and are sensitive to the needs and situations of both patients and relatives. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
