About the Company

Do you want to work for a comprehensive surface coating company that delivers total solutions for both interior and exterior surfaces? Golv & Kakel Måleri Gävleborg is a personal business based in Söderhamn with local departments in Bollnäs, Gävle, and Hudiksvall. Their area of operation covers all of Central Sweden.

Your Responsibilities

As a floor layer at Golv & Kakel Måleri Gävleborg, you will work at several of their departments in Söderhamn, Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, and Gävle. The work mainly consists of:

• Preparation work such as sanding, spackling, and self-leveling screed
• Wet room work, including slope construction and installation of waterproofing/wall mats
• Installation of plastic mats, linoleum, and vinyl flooring
• Pattern matching and welding of seams for a tight and aesthetic result

The work involves freedom under responsibility, and you plan a large part of your working day yourself based on incoming assignments.

Your Background/Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who are an experienced floor layer with pride in your profession and who appreciate both quality and good service. To apply for the position, we would like you to:

• Have 5 years of documented experience as a floor layer
• Work independently and have the ability to plan your work
• Be meticulous, results-oriented, and solution-oriented
• Have a positive attitude and good social competence
• Enjoy customer contact and teamwork
• Be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Have basic computer skills
