School Nurse Wanted for a Small, Cozy School in Central Växjö!

We are a small and cozy preschool–grade 6 school located in central Växjö. Here, you will find a positive and calm work environment where we value close relationships. We have chosen to remain a small school with one class per grade level and a maximum of 20 students per class. Responsibilities

As a school nurse here, you are responsible for the medical interventions in the school's student health work.

Your duties include standard tasks for a school nurse, such as: Health conversations and basic healthcare interventions, vaccinations according to the national child vaccination program, and collaboration with guardians and external agencies. Being an active colleague in our Student Health Team and working with preventive and promoting measures is also part of your assignment.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Further education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse is meritorious, but the most important thing for us, besides your nursing education, is your personality and your heart for children.

As a person, you are secure, independent, and have a genuine interest in children's health and development. Since we are a small school, we place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate and your interpersonal skills. You thrive as part of a team but also have the ability to independently structure and drive your work in a careful and responsible manner.

Employment Type:

The position is a permanent part-time position at 30–40%. We are open to dialogue regarding how we best distribute these hours over the week (or month) to suit both your daily life and the school's/students' needs.
