Job Description

The position is focused on clinical pharmacy within both primary and specialized care. We have established collaborations with several clinics and also work with medication reviews within municipal home care.

The responsibilities include, among other things, medication reconciliation and medication reviews, patient consultations, educational initiatives, and support in matters related to medication management. The work also involves handling medication-related queries and referrals from healthcare providers, as well as close collaboration with colleagues working with medication services and dispensing on care wards.

The position can be adapted to some extent to your skills and experience and may develop based on the needs of the operations. Depending on your background and the region's priorities, you may also work with other tasks within the Medicines Unit. You will collaborate with pharmacists and other professional groups both within the unit and in other parts of the healthcare system in Region Kronoberg.

Work assignments may be located at both our hospitals in Växjö and Ljungby.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed pharmacist or licensed dispensing chemist with a Master of Science in Pharmacy and who have a strong interest in pharmaceutical issues within healthcare.

We prefer that you have a Master's degree in clinical pharmacy, or alternatively, equivalent experience assessed by the employer as comparable.

After an introductory period, you are expected to work independently and take responsibility for planning your work in dialogue with your manager and colleagues. You are proactive, structured, and have an easy time collaborating in different constellations. You thrive with varied tasks and have good flexibility. Furthermore, you have the ability to apply your skills in a way that creates value for both healthcare and patients. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
