Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Region Kronoberg is looking for you to join our team
Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Region Kronoberg includes the Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine laboratories at both Växjö Hospital and Ljungby Hospital. We are an accredited organization, which places demands on quality systems, competence, and documentation, demands we meet through our broad expertise.
Our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year. In recent years, we have undergone extensive renovations and introduced new instruments, making us one of Sweden's most modern laboratories. Clinical Chemistry performs approximately 5 million analyses per year. We primarily work with routine analyses while also performing analyses in various specialized areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves a varied workday with blood sampling for adults and children, glucose tolerance tests, and various practical tasks in the laboratory. It is a position that requires flexibility and the ability to quickly switch between different tasks. We work in an environment where team spirit, openness, and well-being are important parts of everyday life.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have either a nursing assistant education or equivalent experience working as a laboratory technician or laboratory assistant. Experience with venipuncture is required, while knowledge of capillary blood sampling is meritorious. We appreciate a professional and positive attitude, sensitivity, and a desire to contribute to a good work climate. You are responsible, meticulous, and thrive even when the pace is high. Very good language skills in Swedish, equivalent to C1 level, are a requirement. For us, personal suitability, a good attitude, and a flexible working style are very important.
Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Daytime. Currently, working hours are scheduled during the day, but rotation may occur in the future depending on the needs of the operations.
