We are a team of over 340 employees at Folktandvården Kronoberg. Our operations include general dentistry and specialist dental care, a development clinic, a mobile clinic, an administrative office, and a Service Center. We have clinics in 6 of the county's 8 municipalities, and our shared mission is to create good oral health for the people of Kronoberg.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will have a developing and stimulating job at a centrally located and well-staffed orthodontic clinic. We are a tight-knit group working together – five orthodontists, five orthodontic assistants, one resident dentist (ST-tandläkare), and 9 dental nurses. The atmosphere is good, and we have close cooperation both within the clinic and with other specialties. At our clinic, you will primarily work with the clinical care of referred patients, hold consultations, and also give courses for colleagues in general dentistry.

This autumn, we will begin building an academic clinic within Folktandvården, partly with the aim of utilizing research competence to create conditions for research and development of our care. Thus, we offer excellent opportunities for competence development and research. If you are interested in research, you can also apply for research funding via FoU Kronoberg, and if you have an ongoing research project, you are welcome to continue it with us. Together, we are developing specialist dental care in the county, and now we are looking for you who want to be part of the journey!

When you start with us, you will participate in an induction program that gives you a good overview of the entire Folktandvården Kronoberg. You will receive useful information, have the chance to ask questions, and not least, the opportunity to meet other new colleagues from different clinics. Naturally, we ensure that you also receive a thorough introduction to the clinic so that you quickly get into the job and feel like part of the team.

Your main placement is in Växjö, but the orthodontic clinic is located in both Växjö and Ljungby, and all orthodontists work at both locations. We are open to dialogue if you wish to work part-time.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a dentist with an approved specialist education in orthodontics. As a person, you are engaged, you contribute to a good working climate, and you have an easy time communicating and collaborating with others. You are also good at taking initiative and creating structure in the contexts where you find yourself.
