As a Surveying Technician or Surveying Engineer at this company, you will become an important part of a larger construction project in Luleå. The role is entirely focused on surveying, and you will work closely with production to ensure that the work is carried out with high precision throughout the various phases of the project. The first part of the project will focus heavily on piling work. You will be responsible for surveying out where the piles should be placed and conducting control surveys after installation to ensure they are in the correct location, at the correct height, and with the correct inclination. You will also work with measurements related to surrounding buildings to monitor movements and ensure that the construction takes place with consideration for the existing surroundings. As the project progresses, you will also work on surveying and setting out related to the continued construction of the property. The work combines field work and office work. In the field, you use modern measuring instruments such as GPS and total stations, while in the office, you work with survey data, models, and CAD to process and quality-assure the documentation. Examples of tasks

  • Perform setting out and control surveys in connection with piling work.
  • Ensure that piles are placed according to drawings and meet requirements for position, height, and inclination.
  • Measure and monitor surrounding buildings to check for any movements during production.
  • Perform setting out and surveying during the continued construction of the property.
  • Process and handle survey data, models, and CAD documentation.
  • Work with modern measuring instruments such as GPS and total stations.
  • Document and quality-assure survey results in close collaboration with other project stakeholders.

We welcome both recent graduates and those with a few years of experience in surveying to apply for the position, as specific tasks may be adapted. Requirements

  • Education as a Surveying Technician, Surveying Engineer, or other relevant education in surveying.
  • Experience in surveying work through employment, internship (LIA), or practice.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience or knowledge in one of the most common programs within surveying, such as CAD, BIM, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
