Cost Estimation Engineer at Lindinvent

The Role As a Cost Estimation Engineer, you are responsible for analyzing technical documentation and creating cost-effective and sustainable solutions for our projects. You prepare calculations and tenders, and present our products and systems in a clear and trustworthy manner.

In this role, you collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and colleagues throughout the entire tender process. With your technical competence and analytical skills, you help customers find the best solutions for energy-efficient and sustainable buildings, while building long-term relationships based on knowledge and trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare calculations and tenders based on technical documentation, such as drawings and descriptions.
  • Design technically correct and cost-effective solution proposals based on customer needs.
  • Provide technical support and advice to consultants, contractors, and property owners regarding products and system solutions.
  • Follow up on tenders, budget prices, and upselling opportunities in ongoing projects.
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical walkthroughs, both digitally and on-site.
  • Responsible for order placement and internal product orders for projects.
  • Participate in internal meetings, such as weekly meetings, regional meetings, and conferences.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An engineering degree from a university, university college, or university college of technology in a relevant technical field, such as HVAC, energy, construction, electrical, or automation, or equivalent education.
  • A strong technical interest and preferably experience from the ventilation, HVAC, construction, electrical, or property industry.
  • Experience in a technical role, such as cost estimation engineer, technical sales, project manager, or consultant.
  • Experience in technical advisory and customer contact.
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

How we recruit: You apply for the position by sending your CV and answering a few short questions in our recruitment tool.

Since it is currently holiday season, we will begin reviewing applications after the summer. After that, we will contact candidates who move forward to a first telephone interview.

The next step in the process is a technical and competency-based interview. Candidates who proceed will then complete recruitment tests and a second interview. Finally, we conduct reference checks and a final interview before making a hiring decision.
