About the Role

To meet increased regulatory requirements and ensure the highest quality in the handling of customer master data, a new specialist role is being established.

As a Master Data & Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that customer master data is handled correctly, traceably, and in accordance with current legislation and internal regulations. The role combines operational work with clear responsibility for internal control, risk management, and the continuous development of processes and routines. You will become the subject matter expert within the area, working closely with several internal functions while maintaining regular contact with external parties such as authorities and municipalities. The role does not involve personnel responsibility, but carries significant specialist responsibility and offers good opportunities to influence how the area develops forward.

Key Responsibilities

As a Master Data & Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring high quality in customer master data and that the business complies with regulatory requirements. The role includes both operational and developmental work and involves, among other things:

• Own and develop processes for customer registers and customer master data.
• Ensure that customer data and associated documentation are correct, up-to-date, and traceable.
• Quality-assure complex customer cases and identify risks related to data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and conduct internal controls, spot checks, and follow-ups, ensuring that deviations are handled.
• Interpret regulations and translate them into practical routines and working methods.
• Be responsible for the administrative and operational parts of the self-control program related to wholesale trade licenses for tobacco.
• Compile materials for supervision, audits, and authority reviews.
• Serve as a key contact person for authorities, municipalities, and internal stakeholders in matters concerning regulatory compliance.

Who We Are Looking For

• Have experience from a regulated or licensed business, such as tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, gaming, or finance.
• Have worked with customer registers or master data where quality and regulatory compliance were business-critical.
• Have experience in internal control, compliance, or other rule-driven processes.
• Have a good understanding of how regulations affect the business's risks and licenses.
• Are accustomed to interpreting regulations and translating them into practical working methods.
• Work in a structured, analytical, and meticulous manner with high quality in documentation and administration.
• Have good system proficiency and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

Qualifications That Are Meritorious

• Experience with self-control programs or work related to licensed tobacco operations.
• Experience with authority contacts and supervision processes.
• Experience in developing internal control routines and quality processes.
