We are looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a woman in Borlänge. The position is during daytime hours and involves providing support in daily life with a focus on safety, care, nursing, and respectful treatment.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the user in their daily life with a focus on safety, self-determination, and good nursing care. Your tasks include personal care, transfers using various aids, tube feeding and handling of the tube, as well as support in daily activities. You are also responsible for being attentive to changes in the user's health condition, as the user has multiple chronic conditions, and to collaborate with relatives and other healthcare contacts as needed to ensure safe and secure care.

We are looking for someone who

• Is calm, empathetic, and responsible.
• Has experience in personal assistance, nursing, or similar work.
• Has experience with tube feeding and medical technical aids, or is willing to learn.
• Is confident in working with personal care and transfers.

Merits

• Education within healthcare and social care.
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or assistant nurse.
• Experience with tube feeding and working with individuals with extensive care needs.
• Knowledge of Somali, as this facilitates communication with the user and their relatives.
