As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you will work within military security services, focusing on the collection of security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats to the Swedish Armed Forces' protected values.
In your role, you will work on a highly relevant task with a constantly changing threat landscape. The work is long-term and conducted with high discretion. As a person, you should be patient, results-oriented, and possess a high ability for creative thinking.
Main Responsibilities
The daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to the execution of operational activities. An important part of the role is also the development of operations within your future area of responsibility. Furthermore, you lead, are responsible for, and develop your group, holding direct personnel responsibility.
The employment begins with a basic course of approximately 6 months. After a successful completion, you will be placed in a suitable position. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course.
Desirable Personal Qualities
We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, has a strong sense of responsibility, and good initiative. Additionally, you should have a high stress threshold and be accustomed to changing environments, as the operational task is very dynamic.
As an employee, you are expected to take initiative, understand the implications of your own decisions, and evaluate their consequences within a broader operational context. You should be able to work autonomously without direct supervision and make decisions based on previously established frameworks that constantly strive towards the overarching goal.
We see you as someone who unites a group and contributes to the development of others in a non-hierarchical manner, where individual differences and competencies are strengthened to build a cohesive and effective whole.
Since you will handle security-classified information and the work is subject to significant confidentiality, we look for someone with high personal maturity and strong integrity who is not driven by a need for external validation.
