About the role

Nord-Lock is a global industrial group with operations in several countries worldwide. The company is a market leader in solutions for secure screw connections and delivers products to customers in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and transport. In Mattmar, one of the group's key production and development units is located, focusing on innovation, quality, and technical expertise.

As a Project Manager, you will become part of the technical organization where you are responsible for driving development and investment projects from idea to implementation. You lead cross-functional project teams consisting of engineers, specialists, buyers, and other key functions, with responsibility for the project schedule, economy, resources, and results.

You are employed as a consultant by Academic Work and work on behalf of Nord-Lock. The assignment is long-term, and for the right person, there are good opportunities for further development within the company.

Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on technical projects within Nord-Lock's operations. You ensure that projects are carried out according to set goals and act as a cohesive link between the various stakeholders of the project.

You will, among other things:

  • Lead projects from feasibility studies and planning to implementation and handover
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams
  • Be responsible for the project schedule, budget, resources, and reporting
  • Ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals for quality, time, and cost
  • Manage contact with suppliers and other external partners
  • Follow up on project progress and communicate status to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of project methods and working practices

We are looking for you who

  • Have a university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical field
  • Have several years of experience in project management
  • Have experience in managing project budgets, financial follow-up, and reporting
  • Have good skills in planning, prioritizing, and driving work forward towards set goals
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as this is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in leading investment or development projects
